Introduction of the Concept
The meaning of “knowing” has shifted from being able to remember and repeat information to being able to find and use it.[1] Herbert Simon
There are many talents/abilities/intelligences humans possess[2] and none are superior to another since the loss of any one of them would come at a high cost to human welfare and happiness. We need to recognize differences between every individual – something many may believe is true, but ignore nonetheless when it comes to elementary and secondary education, where a one-size-fits-all approach dominates, and which marginalizes the vast majority of Americans in economic terms.
